"I handle the fuel. You handle the work. That's the deal."

The Chef Behind the Food

Chef Jesse Brown has spent nearly a decade doing something most meal companies can't claim: feeding athletes at the highest level of professional sport. His meals have been part of training programs across every NFL team, alongside competitors in the MLB and NHL - not as catering, but as fuel. The same way a strength coach or a recovery protocol is fuel.

For Jesse, what an athlete eats isn't separate from how they train. It is the training. The right meal at the right time is the difference between a good week and a great one - and he's spent years perfecting both sides of that equation.

From the Kitchen to the Field

Jesse launched what would become Chefology in 2018 under the name Eat Ready Fresh Meals, built on a conviction that athletes deserved better than processed kits and reheated shortcuts. Every meal came out of the kitchen the same way: scratch-made, macro-balanced, and built to perform. That reputation spread through locker rooms and training facilities the way good reputations do: through results and word of mouth.

"I've never seen discipline in the weight room cancel out poor nutrition. But I've seen the right meals unlock something in an athlete that training alone couldn't."

The Standard Behind the Name

As Executive Chef and co-founder of Chefology, Jesse brings that same pro-level standard to Nashville and Middle Tennessee. His approach blends elevated comfort food with precision nutrition - seasonal ingredients, intentional technique, and a rotating weekly menu designed to stay interesting across a long training season.

Beyond the pros, Jesse is deeply invested in the next generation. He works with young athletes across the region preparing for NCAA careers - helping them understand early that nutrition isn't separate from training. It is training. The meal is part of the program.

He grew up in a single-parent household where football built his character, and today he coaches youth football alongside raising three sons - Maverick, Logan, and Baker - with his Franklin native wife Jessica. On the field or in the kitchen: show up with precision, care about the people in front of you, and never cut corners.
